Reisdetails van Zuid Afrika
Omschrijving:
Hoi allemaal,
Hier een berichtje uit Zuid Afrika. We hebben een goede vlucht met Britisch Airways gehad. Jammer genoeg wel wat turbulentie, maar dat zal wel bij de vlucht horen. Op het vliegveld van Johannesburg werden we gelijk vriendelijk geholpen toen we op zoek waren naar europcar. Vanuit Johannesburg zijn we naar Waterval Boven gereden. Hier rijden ze links en zit je als bestuurder rechts in de auto en heb je de versnellingspook links, maar dat went snel. We hebben de snelweg genomen en waren rond een uur of twee op de plaats van bestemming. Daar was gelijk de natuur anders, namelijk een berggebied wat wij mooier vinden. Sowieso is over de snelweg rijden niet leuk, maar omdat we toch wel wat vermoeid waren leek het ons beter om daarvoor te kiezen ipv de kleinere wegen.
In Waterval Boven werden we vriendelijk ontvangen door een blanke medewerker (man met volgens ons met teveel vrouwelijke hormonen) en met een heel hoog stemmetje. Hij heeft ons meegenomen in zijn jeep naar de waterval en de township. Dat was zeer indrukwekkend.
Het diner en ontbijt was daar voortreffelijk. Vervolgens zijn we de volgende ochtend vertrokken naar een lodge die aan het Krugerpark ligt. De route was gelukkig niet over de snelweg en liep door de bergen. We hadden een aantal stops met bezienswaardigheden, zoals Gods Windows, Pinnacle Potholes, de drie Rondavels etc. De foto's komen later.
Pas tegen een uur of vijf kwamen we bij de lodge aan. We hadden voor een nacht een tent geboekt en de tweede nacht een kamer. Helaas konden we maar voor 1 nacht een tent boeken anders hadden we voor twee nachten in een tent gekozen. We keken uit op het zwembad, terras en het Krugerpark en zagen gelijk een aantal olifanten lopen. Vanmorgen moesten we om 5 u op ivm een gamedrive. We gingen samen met de gids in zo'n open truck door het Krugerpark en hebben, giraffen, olifanten, zebra's, neushoorns etc gespot.
Toen we terug kwamen bleek een probleem met de boeking te zijn. De lodge bleek vol te zijn dus had men geen kamer meer voor ons. Men bood ons een hotel bij de ingang van het Krugerpark aan voor dezelfde prijs waarvoor wij de lodge geboekt hebben. Het is een super de luxe hotel, die wij normaliter niet zouden boeken enz Kras of Oad ook niet. We hebben een super kamer en heerlijk uitgebreid gegeten. We hoefden alleen de drank te betalen en dat is een stuk goedkoper dan in Nederland. Voorts was er een groep die optrad, hetgeen ook weer leuk is om mee te maken. We hadden vanmiddag de schuifpui open, maar door het personeel werd aangeraden die dicht te houden, anders komen de apen binnen.
Morgen gaan we naar Swaziland!

Reisdetails van Zuid Afrika
Omschrijving:
Hoi allemaal,
Hier een berichtje uit Zuid Afrika. We hebben een goede vlucht met Britisch Airways gehad. Jammer genoeg wel wat turbulentie, maar dat zal wel bij de vlucht horen. Op het vliegveld van Johannesburg werden we gelijk vriendelijk geholpen toen we op zoek waren naar europcar. Vanuit Johannesburg zijn we naar Waterval Boven gereden. Hier rijden ze links en zit je als bestuurder rechts in de auto en heb je de versnellingspook links, maar dat went snel. We hebben de snelweg genomen en waren rond een uur of twee op de plaats van bestemming. Daar was gelijk de natuur anders, namelijk een berggebied wat wij mooier vinden. Sowieso is over de snelweg rijden niet leuk, maar omdat we toch wel wat vermoeid waren leek het ons beter om daarvoor te kiezen ipv de kleinere wegen.
In Waterval Boven werden we vriendelijk ontvangen door een blanke medewerker (man met volgens ons met teveel vrouwelijke hormonen) en met een heel hoog stemmetje. Hij heeft ons meegenomen in zijn jeep naar de waterval en de township. Dat was zeer indrukwekkend.
Het diner en ontbijt was daar voortreffelijk. Vervolgens zijn we de volgende ochtend vertrokken naar een lodge die aan het Krugerpark ligt. De route was gelukkig niet over de snelweg en liep door de bergen. We hadden een aantal stops met bezienswaardigheden, zoals Gods Windows, Pinnacle Potholes, de drie Rondavels etc. De foto's komen later.
Pas tegen een uur of vijf kwamen we bij de lodge aan. We hadden voor een nacht een tent geboekt en de tweede nacht een kamer. Helaas konden we maar voor 1 nacht een tent boeken anders hadden we voor twee nachten in een tent gekozen. We keken uit op het zwembad, terras en het Krugerpark en zagen gelijk een aantal olifanten lopen. Vanmorgen moesten we om 5 u op ivm een gamedrive. We gingen samen met de gids in zo'n open truck door het Krugerpark en hebben, giraffen, olifanten, zebra's, neushoorns etc gespot.
Toen we terug kwamen bleek een probleem met de boeking te zijn. De lodge bleek vol te zijn dus had men geen kamer meer voor ons. Men bood ons een hotel bij de ingang van het Krugerpark aan voor dezelfde prijs waarvoor wij de lodge geboekt hebben. Het is een super de luxe hotel, die wij normaliter niet zouden boeken enz Kras of Oad ook niet. We hebben een super kamer en heerlijk uitgebreid gegeten. We hoefden alleen de drank te betalen en dat is een stuk goedkoper dan in Nederland. Voorts was er een groep die optrad, hetgeen ook weer leuk is om mee te maken. We hadden vanmiddag de schuifpui open, maar door het personeel werd aangeraden die dicht te houden, anders komen de apen binnen.
Morgen gaan we naar Swaziland!

Reisdetails van Zuid Afrika
Omschrijving:
Hoi allemaal,
Hier een berichtje uit Zuid Afrika. We hebben een goede vlucht met Britisch Airways gehad. Jammer genoeg wel wat turbulentie, maar dat zal wel bij de vlucht horen. Op het vliegveld van Johannesburg werden we gelijk vriendelijk geholpen toen we op zoek waren naar europcar. Vanuit Johannesburg zijn we naar Waterval Boven gereden. Hier rijden ze links en zit je als bestuurder rechts in de auto en heb je de versnellingspook links, maar dat went snel. We hebben de snelweg genomen en waren rond een uur of twee op de plaats van bestemming. Daar was gelijk de natuur anders, namelijk een berggebied wat wij mooier vinden. Sowieso is over de snelweg rijden niet leuk, maar omdat we toch wel wat vermoeid waren leek het ons beter om daarvoor te kiezen ipv de kleinere wegen.
In Waterval Boven werden we vriendelijk ontvangen door een blanke medewerker (man met volgens ons met teveel vrouwelijke hormonen) en met een heel hoog stemmetje. Hij heeft ons meegenomen in zijn jeep naar de waterval en de township. Dat was zeer indrukwekkend.
Het diner en ontbijt was daar voortreffelijk. Vervolgens zijn we de volgende ochtend vertrokken naar een lodge die aan het Krugerpark ligt. De route was gelukkig niet over de snelweg en liep door de bergen. We hadden een aantal stops met bezienswaardigheden, zoals Gods Windows, Pinnacle Potholes, de drie Rondavels etc. De foto's komen later.
Pas tegen een uur of vijf kwamen we bij de lodge aan. We hadden voor een nacht een tent geboekt en de tweede nacht een kamer. Helaas konden we maar voor 1 nacht een tent boeken anders hadden we voor twee nachten in een tent gekozen. We keken uit op het zwembad, terras en het Krugerpark en zagen gelijk een aantal olifanten lopen. Vanmorgen moesten we om 5 u op ivm een gamedrive. We gingen samen met de gids in zo'n open truck door het Krugerpark en hebben, giraffen, olifanten, zebra's, neushoorns etc gespot.
Toen we terug kwamen bleek een probleem met de boeking te zijn. De lodge bleek vol te zijn dus had men geen kamer meer voor ons. Men bood ons een hotel bij de ingang van het Krugerpark aan voor dezelfde prijs waarvoor wij de lodge geboekt hebben. Het is een super de luxe hotel, die wij normaliter niet zouden boeken enz Kras of Oad ook niet. We hebben een super kamer en heerlijk uitgebreid gegeten. We hoefden alleen de drank te betalen en dat is een stuk goedkoper dan in Nederland. Voorts was er een groep die optrad, hetgeen ook weer leuk is om mee te maken. We hadden vanmiddag de schuifpui open, maar door het personeel werd aangeraden die dicht te houden, anders komen de apen binnen.
Morgen gaan we naar Swaziland!

Reisdetails van Zuid Afrika
Omschrijving:
Hoi allemaal,
Hier een berichtje uit Zuid Afrika. We hebben een goede vlucht met Britisch Airways gehad. Jammer genoeg wel wat turbulentie, maar dat zal wel bij de vlucht horen. Op het vliegveld van Johannesburg werden we gelijk vriendelijk geholpen toen we op zoek waren naar europcar. Vanuit Johannesburg zijn we naar Waterval Boven gereden. Hier rijden ze links en zit je als bestuurder rechts in de auto en heb je de versnellingspook links, maar dat went snel. We hebben de snelweg genomen en waren rond een uur of twee op de plaats van bestemming. Daar was gelijk de natuur anders, namelijk een berggebied wat wij mooier vinden. Sowieso is over de snelweg rijden niet leuk, maar omdat we toch wel wat vermoeid waren leek het ons beter om daarvoor te kiezen ipv de kleinere wegen.
In Waterval Boven werden we vriendelijk ontvangen door een blanke medewerker (man met volgens ons met teveel vrouwelijke hormonen) en met een heel hoog stemmetje. Hij heeft ons meegenomen in zijn jeep naar de waterval en de township. Dat was zeer indrukwekkend.
Het diner en ontbijt was daar voortreffelijk. Vervolgens zijn we de volgende ochtend vertrokken naar een lodge die aan het Krugerpark ligt. De route was gelukkig niet over de snelweg en liep door de bergen. We hadden een aantal stops met bezienswaardigheden, zoals Gods Windows, Pinnacle Potholes, de drie Rondavels etc. De foto's komen later.
Pas tegen een uur of vijf kwamen we bij de lodge aan. We hadden voor een nacht een tent geboekt en de tweede nacht een kamer. Helaas konden we maar voor 1 nacht een tent boeken anders hadden we voor twee nachten in een tent gekozen. We keken uit op het zwembad, terras en het Krugerpark en zagen gelijk een aantal olifanten lopen. Vanmorgen moesten we om 5 u op ivm een gamedrive. We gingen samen met de gids in zo'n open truck door het Krugerpark en hebben, giraffen, olifanten, zebra's, neushoorns etc gespot.
Toen we terug kwamen bleek een probleem met de boeking te zijn. De lodge bleek vol te zijn dus had men geen kamer meer voor ons. Men bood ons een hotel bij de ingang van het Krugerpark aan voor dezelfde prijs waarvoor wij de lodge geboekt hebben. Het is een super de luxe hotel, die wij normaliter niet zouden boeken enz Kras of Oad ook niet. We hebben een super kamer en heerlijk uitgebreid gegeten. We hoefden alleen de drank te betalen en dat is een stuk goedkoper dan in Nederland. Voorts was er een groep die optrad, hetgeen ook weer leuk is om mee te maken. We hadden vanmiddag de schuifpui open, maar door het personeel werd aangeraden die dicht te houden, anders komen de apen binnen.
Morgen gaan we naar Swaziland!

[description] => Hoi allemaal,
Hier een berichtje uit Zuid Afrika. We hebben een goede vlucht met Britisch Airways gehad. Jammer genoeg wel wat turbulentie, maar dat zal wel bij de vlucht horen. Op het vliegveld van Johannesburg werden we gelijk vriendelijk geholpen toen we op zoek waren naar europcar. Vanuit Johannesburg zijn we naar Waterval Boven gereden. Hier rijden ze links en zit je als bestuurder rechts in de auto en heb je de versnellingspook links, maar dat went snel. We hebben de snelweg genomen en waren rond een uur of twee op de plaats van bestemming. Daar was gelijk de natuur anders, namelijk een berggebied wat wij mooier vinden. Sowieso is over de snelweg rijden niet leuk, maar omdat we toch wel wat vermoeid waren leek het ons beter om daarvoor te kiezen ipv de kleinere wegen.
In Waterval Boven werden we vriendelijk ontvangen door een blanke medewerker (man met volgens ons met teveel vrouwelijke hormonen) en met een heel hoog stemmetje. Hij heeft ons meegenomen in zijn jeep naar de waterval en de township. Dat was zeer indrukwekkend.
Het diner en ontbijt was daar voortreffelijk. Vervolgens zijn we de volgende ochtend vertrokken naar een lodge die aan het Krugerpark ligt. De route was gelukkig niet over de snelweg en liep door de bergen. We hadden een aantal stops met bezienswaardigheden, zoals Gods Windows, Pinnacle Potholes, de drie Rondavels etc. De foto's komen later.
Pas tegen een uur of vijf kwamen we bij de lodge aan. We hadden voor een nacht een tent geboekt en de tweede nacht een kamer. Helaas konden we maar voor 1 nacht een tent boeken anders hadden we voor twee nachten in een tent gekozen. We keken uit op het zwembad, terras en het Krugerpark en zagen gelijk een aantal olifanten lopen. Vanmorgen moesten we om 5 u op ivm een gamedrive. We gingen samen met de gids in zo'n open truck door het Krugerpark en hebben, giraffen, olifanten, zebra's, neushoorns etc gespot.
Toen we terug kwamen bleek een probleem met de boeking te zijn. De lodge bleek vol te zijn dus had men geen kamer meer voor ons. Men bood ons een hotel bij de ingang van het Krugerpark aan voor dezelfde prijs waarvoor wij de lodge geboekt hebben. Het is een super de luxe hotel, die wij normaliter niet zouden boeken enz Kras of Oad ook niet. We hebben een super kamer en heerlijk uitgebreid gegeten. We hoefden alleen de drank te betalen en dat is een stuk goedkoper dan in Nederland. Voorts was er een groep die optrad, hetgeen ook weer leuk is om mee te maken. We hadden vanmiddag de schuifpui open, maar door het personeel werd aangeraden die dicht te houden, anders komen de apen binnen.
